Join us for our Youth Research Dialogue
RAY DAY ON 20 OCTOBER: Youth Research in the past 15 years
Join us for the next episode of our Youth Research Dialogues.
Our European-wide RAY Communication Day takes place on 20 October and we are implementing our 4th Youth Research Dialogue ‘Youth Research in the past 15 years: Looking Back, Moving Forward’ on this common day dedicated for RAY and our activities.
We will discuss insights, surprising facts and highlights from RAY research across our all our projects from the past 15 years. Dive with us in thought-provoking and startling facts and figures about the European youth programmes and beyond.
Our guest speaker will bring in a valuable perspective concerning the wider context of youth research and connected topics, discourses, spotlights and challenges.
The time travel and look-back will be complemented by a discussion about the future needs, including questions: What is next for youth research? Is the field ready for what’s ahead? How do we make sure that stakeholders within the youth work and youth policy field in Europe are equipped (enough) to make sense of evidence-based research and have the means to absorb and use this knowledge? What kind of research will be needed, how will it be done, and by whom (actors, content and methodology)?

What are the Youth Research Dialogues?
The overall aim of the ‘Youth Research Dialogues’ series is to not only to make RAY research findings more accessible but also other European youth research studies and create a dialogue between researchers about their findings. The ‘Youth Research Dialogues’ series promotes different topics, e.g. inclusion and diversity, pandemic and youth work, digitalisation etc. In addition to researchers from the RAY Network, the ‘Youth Research Dialogues’ series features research colleagues from different global and European contexts and networks.
