Our 5th (and last) Youth Research Dialogue in 2022- part of our thematic online series of evidence-based youth research findings – took place on 28 November.
Andrea Horta from the RAY transnational research team and Jimmy Jaldemark, Associate Professor at Mid Sweden University discussed how organisational learning can be fostered in non-formal and formal settings within the European youth programmes and beyond.
We talked about findings from our ongoing research project on strategies and practices for organisational development and learning of organisations and networks in the European youth sector (RAY LEARN) as well as heard perspectives from outside the youth field and research done within other contexts.
Moderation was done by Tomi Kiilakoski & digital facilitation by Domagoj Morić.

Speakers
>> Jimmy Jaldemark, Associate Professor, Department of Education, Mid Sweden University
Jimmy Jaldemark is working as a developer, researcher and teacher at Mid Sweden University. As a scholar in the discipline of Education, he has worked with issues intersecting digitalisation, education and learning in higher education since the mid-nineties. Usually, communication and social organisation are themes linked to his projects. In recent years this has included projects of lifelong and technology-enhanced learning in working life settings. A lot of interesting stuff happens in this area!

Andrea Horta works for Youth Policy Labs, a small research agency and think tank in the youth sector. She has a research background in neuroscience and psychology and currently works as part of the transnational research team of the RAY network. She will discuss research findings on organisational learning and development of youth sector organisations and networks in the context of the European youth programmes.
