Youth Research Dialogue

Dimensions of organisational learning

Our last Youth Research Dialogue in 2025 will happen on 10 December.

We will share preliminary key findings from our RAY LEARN research project on organisational learning and development in Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps.

Additionally, we will share spotlights from the RAY LEARN Conference which happened earlier in November. The conference brought together 40 participants: beneficiary organisations of the RAY LEARN research as well as national researchers and National Agency colleagues from the countries involved in the RAY LEARN research project. The event was designed to celebrate, reward and expand participant’s involvement in the study. Furthermore, it provided a space for beneficiaries to network with each other and interact with the preliminary outcomes.

Our guest speaker for this episode will bring in valuable insights from a broader perspective on organisational learning, focusing on organisations as living systems.

Together, we will reflect on the RAY findings, including challenges, resources and practices. We will discuss how the European youth programmes can (or cannot) support strategic organisational learning. Furthermore, we will explore internal and external challenges, potentials and patterns when it comes to organisational development. Finally, we will talk about how to move forward with this topic within the European youth programmes and beyond.

As a coach and consultant, he supports leaders, organisations and larger systems in making necessary future-ready shifts. In March 2025, he published the book “Systemic Change in Organisations”, and he has co-authored a new T-kit “Organisational Management”, expected to be published in 2026.

What are the Youth Research Dialogues?

The overall aim of the ‘Youth Research Dialogues’ series is to not only to make RAY research findings more accessible but also other European youth research studies and create a dialogue between researchers about their findings. The ‘Youth Research Dialogues’ series promotes different topics, e.g. inclusion and diversity, pandemic and youth work, digitalisation etc. In addition to researchers from the RAY Network, the ‘Youth Research Dialogues’ series features research colleagues from different global and European contexts and networks.
