Research, Policy & Practice in Dialogue
Join us for our next Youth Research Dialogue on 30 September.
We will talk about the upcoming RAY Triangular Summit where 160 stakeholders from policy, practice and research from the youth field and beyond come together. The event fosters an informed dialogue aiming to contribute to the discussions on further development of the European Youth Programmes as well as connected youth policy frameworks.
We will tease first research findings from the latest RAY Monitoring surveys for Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps with the appetite for more – we livestream dedicated session from the Summit in mid-October (details HERE).
During this episode, we will discuss how research and data can support practitioners as well as policy- and decision makers in the European youth field in planning and implementing actions as well as taking evidence-based decisions.
Furthermore, and with an additional focus around advocacy, we will explore together with our guest speaker from the European Youth Forum how the voices of young people and youth organisations contribute to shaping the upcoming cycle of the European youth programme and the renewed EU Youth Strategy.

What are the Youth Research Dialogues?
The overall aim of the ‘Youth Research Dialogues’ series is to not only to make RAY research findings more accessible but also other European youth research studies and create a dialogue between researchers about their findings. The ‘Youth Research Dialogues’ series promotes different topics, e.g. inclusion and diversity, pandemic and youth work, digitalisation etc. In addition to researchers from the RAY Network, the ‘Youth Research Dialogues’ series features research colleagues from different global and European contexts and networks.
